Ch9 Completion and future plans

The Ch9 epilogue is completed with the latest patch uploaded. For the Vanir backers, the version 1 of the guide has also been uploaded. We are currently working on the prequel story, Jotun. It's set before Ragnarok, where the Homo Jotun were first created, setting the social context for the Ergi era. The prequel story revolves around 4 main characters, each representing a faction starting a movement - Pro homo Sapiens, Pro homo Jotun, Pro integration (pagan) and the Anarchists. The MCs can switch faction as the game progresses, joining up or fight each other, which will determine the story ending.

The gameplay will be a lot simpler as this is a "Video Novel" - we can't go too crazy even if we wanted to. Instead of crafting, skill builds, combat etc, each MC can recruit up to 8 followers (e.g. the man with the wolf). Each of them comes with unlockable talents, skills and interactions with higher loyalty. The followers will help you start a movement in the story direction you wanted to.

The first chapter introduces Viggo, an advanced prototype of early Homo Jotun, bred to be Alfrothul's body guard. A trailer is included at the end of the Ch9 epilogue scene.

I can't believe it, but even with the new update the problem with the 10th guardian no triggered remains, as well as the illogical suicide of yours or your LI when you try lure the serpent to yggdrasil. Nor the guide is more specific, what is needed to have the good ending. (I have tuned device, lucid Tora, secured tanks...) The info in the guide says, that trigger condition is: "give up on final battle", which is funny - players have no word on it, the game decide itself after the 5th round what is triggered, the players can't decide it. PLEASE, CORRECT THIS, THANKS!

Hi LukaM, I am aware of the feedback and are following up on them already. Do give us some time to coordinate and consolidate the issues and work with the artist on them.

for the record, as a long-term supporter of the game, I would like to echo Pilgrim's unsatisfaction on the state of the CGs and of the chapter+epilogue, plus the unusual lack of communication. I appreciate closing a complex story and game like Ergi is not an easy affair, but in this case it feels that it did happen for, actually, lack of trying, because of the divestment of resources towards the new game. I care to stress that I am not an anti-AI crusader, but I do expect good quality and above all consistency of quality and traits both within the images and within the Ergi aesthetics. I lack both here.

The Epilogue has been included in the last update of the Chapter9. The fact the devs are not able to inform about it in separate post and more precisely is rather typical. The same with the guide. Why there can't be a direct link? Players have to go to discord to get some information from Kire or other players. Now, instead of the development of a new game, I would like to see efforts to ensure the high-quality completion of Ergi. Namely to get rid of all bad CG's, both from the Epilogue with distored figures and those from pervious Chapters with bad angles and lazy details. There are still many bugs and bad spellings, and grammar issues. I think, especially towards those who supported the development of Ergi from the very beginning (and spent hunders of dollars on it), it would be a matter of common courtesy.
