so for an idea on the movies, there are 3 movies that recap the series but tell it in a slightly different way, with certain events changing a bit, then there are some side stories told from a different protagonists point of view, i haven't watched those, but the main one id recommend you probably watch is Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (DO NOT LOOK INTO THE MOVIE UNTIL YOU'VE FINISHED THE SHOW) as i personally really liked it, and it can be considered as like a bonus story depending on how you think the show ended. ( side note though, i do believe the movie world is based off of the recap movies, so thing will be different in that movie compared to the show, but i personally dont think its that big of a difference that it warrants you guys needing to watch the 3 recap movies)
