How does the Alf fighting system work? I played through Ch 3 once as Seidr and sailed through the Blood Moon fight no problem. But now I'm playing through again with an Alf build and I can't for the life of me get past the wolf fight. I have Geothermal Power, War Provisions, and Fast Build all at 3. I have 5 ammo, 5 med kits, almost 60 rations, multiple war supplies, and Valhalla serum. I've tried every permutation of attack order I can think of. And yet I still haven't even managed to get the wolf below half life. I feel like I must be missing some aspect of how this build works but I can't find anything in any of the guides....

2023-05-24 23:59:37 +0000 UTCstats won't matter until your next romance milestone check with Jostein in Ch5. For Ch3, you just need to unlock his extended scene in Ch2 and become his apprentice last chapter.

2023-01-06 17:08:03 +0000 UTCI was asking because of how, in chapter 2, there is a req for 65 charm to get the extended parts of his early scenes (which I sometimes missed out on getting due to choosing more blue or yellow choices in ch1, and so had to replay). However, if there is no greater charm requirement for all the parts of his scenes in ch 3, then it's all good. TBH I was mainly concerned about the scene with Filipa in regards to the birth relic where you get the choice of +charm, +will or +affection from Jostein (where I usually picked charm since I figured missing out on 5 affection one time wouldn't make that big a difference), and not sabotaging my chances further on with Jostein by picking the "wrong" choice and missing a stat requirement. Does the choice here matter?

2023-01-06 17:03:55 +0000 UTCFor Ch3, the extended scenes are focused on Tyr, Ralf, Borge and Kirk. For Jostein, the stat requirements are already met in Ch2. Do check the LI overall summary to check the other Ch2 requirements.

2023-01-06 16:17:49 +0000 UTCI've not quite gotten there yet, but is there any particular charm requirement, or other stat requirements, for Jostein's scenes for chapter 3 (I've had to restart the game a few times to get the conditions right to unlock all the extra bits for him in ch2 since I've messed it up a few times in the past)?I really don't want to mess up my stats for his romance and have to go again. 😕
