Weekly Update: Build is Coming!

Work has continued feverishly around the next build and things are starting to look good! The biggest of our new quests has already been implemented and apart from a few sequence tweaks, is completely playable. Another new quest only needs a few additions (and missing textures) before being playable. All of the old quests have been renamed and re-written, with the exception of the computer dialogue tree, which will be left largely untouched.
The only real hurdle that remains is the way the game handles event triggers. Our programmer was forced to pretty much throw out the previous system, which means we'll have to rebuild them. Luckily for us, there aren't too many of them, and it's not going to delay the build either. In addition to that, the new system is as slick as a weasel and so flexible we can pretty much make it do whatever we please. Talk about a win-win situation!
In conclusion, things are looking up and everything is more or less going according to schedule! We don't really have any pictures to show, because everyone's been so damn busy, but rest assured, we've got a few aces up our sleeves that should make life easier and sexier for all of you!
