This is just my opinion and my point of view. Regarding episodes from 2 hour mark to 40 min. Josh said something about it’s going to be more concise and straight to the points. Yes I agree, but I think many people who fell in love with this podcast is mainly to do with the long episodes and where there is talks about the subject (manga) and banter and having fun. Instead of boom this is the manga, these are the points, end of episode. Also, I would like to add another point of why longer episodes for the first volume is better because it really makes volume one unique, there is no other podcast I can find which talks about just the first volume for 1.5 hours. Therefore the first experience for many people are like “wow this is really different than the 15 min YouTube videos that’s mostly recommended to me”. I think it’s a good idea for instance anime or 1st chapter or other than manga to be less than 30 min, even 10 min. Now obviously editing can take a toll, which I understand, if you need to shorten the manga episodes for that reason. Overall, I’ll be happy on whatever you guys decide to do at the end. I wanted to bring out these points, just in case you guys didn’t consider it before.

Honestly I’d love to see Cody play Elden Ring when it drops. Maybe guiding Mehgan or Josh through other FromSoftware games.
