Happy Halloween! (1.18 Progress Update)
Added 2019-10-30 21:41:20 +0000 UTCJust a ping to say I'm still working hard on 1.18.1 (yeah I probably should have just called it 1.19 given how long it has taken to complete!) and Hair Sim V3. While V3 was envisioned to mainly just add support for custom styling, along the way I decided to improve nearly every aspect of Hair Sim V3 over Hair Sim V2. Because of this additional work that was put in, I believe V3 vastly improves the options for variability and realism beyond just the new style system. These shots show the new curl system, spread options. and other tweaks and new parameters that improve the lighting, shadows, and overall hair render quality. I'm done with nearly everything needed for 1.18.1 release except for some final work on the styling tools, which I will spend the next few days on. I'm hopeful to get 1.18.1 Beta out within the next few days for everyone to try out.

I have not even downloaded the last few updates as I've been busy doing other thing but I'd love to play around with it. So challenging and fun at the same time.. so cool when it all works out. It's like a jig saw puzzle kinda.. 3d puzzle. Still pumping that money to mesh cause I want more! Hehe.

I have some very much needed feature recommendations for this game: Allow settings from trigger start actions to be copied anywhere Allow the "Reciever Atom" to change but keep the reciever target the same if available Allow user to switch out of VR into Desktop Mode through the menu (without having to quit) When the user quits, the scene saves Warning and prompt for overwriting a save Warning and prompt for exiting a scene without saving (and a prompt whether or not to save) Ability to have an object "track" another UI buttons currently need to be double clicked to activate if you use a setup that changes from one preset of a button to another (to duplicate, have a button that has "A" as the text, then set an action to load a preset with the name "B", save it as a preset named "A", change the text of the button to "B", change the load preset action to load preset "A", then save it as "B", then click the button. Nothing will happen the first time, but the second time it will change. You currently need to double click the button in order for it to change. Allow triggers to load poses for everything, especially animation patterns Undo for at least the easiest parts of VAM to add an undo to Would be cool but isn't something needed: Have a mode to control the human limbs/body like in "Toribash" (extend/contract/rotate) with strengths, limits, etc.
