June 2022 Update

Sorry for not posting much this month. In the nature of transparency, I experienced the end of a long term relationship at the end of May, and had to work a ton of hours this month to account for some of the changes. July should be a little bit better for me, as I am hoping to finally put in serious work on the Syra Wolf clips. Right now, I've been struggling with them, since they are a bit abstract and missing little transitions here and there. In that same vein, a lot of the GoPro POV shots I was planning on using didn't come out right, or don't quite work in the context of the clip, so I've had to reimagine what the clips "look like" in a new direction, more or less.
Anyways, I wanted to share with you some stills from the next Syra Wolf clip. Specifically, I really enjoy the odd intimacy and sensuality of how they get rid of this tiny woman between their fingers.

Sometimes I feel like I haven't grown or improved enough in relation to all of this, but at the same time, I'm happy I'm still finding (and making) the time to do it, you know? I know a lot of the stuff I did from that shoot didn't quite come out as I had hoped, but there's still enough fun stuff in it for me to justify putting the effort into sound editing (which is something I'm happy I've been getting better at, or at least I hope lol). I will keep that in mind in terms of the gamer stuff, because I think that's something she could definitely pull off! And in terms of the Syra stuff, I'm so thankful that you've been getting those types of vibes from it! I think that "uncaring yet excited" is an interesting way to think about it, because I think you're right, there are different times within the stuff I've been editing with Syra where there is an excited sorta reveling, but also a silent and serious cruelty. Those eye shots are some of my favorites. I'm also hopeful that I can make Syra feel as gigantic and powerful as you're perceiving with the previews :)

2022-07-01 03:42:58 +0000 UTCOkay multiple things 1: really sorry about your breakup, hopefully ur able to heal relatively quickly 2: really enjoyed both of the new Lauren videos, ofc the camerawork is great as always, u really know how to make the viewer feel small, I’m not normally a HUGE fan of unaware but something abt the laundry clip worked for me, I think the fact that it’s succinct and the fact that despite technically being unaware, there feels like there is a lot of interaction between Lauren and the viewer, and I love that The gaming clip is great too, the way it’s shot and edited really make her feet feel mountainous, and the concept, I absolutely love the concept of Lauren just being a gamer in general in size scenarios, but the idea of venting frustration on a tiny is something I ABSOLUTELY love, and would love to see further explored in the future, the idea of Lauren being cruel simply because she got mad at a videogame is just. Absolutely perfect 3: this syra wolf clip you’ve been teasing with the tiny girl is just looking fucking amazing Even from stills alone she feels so massive, hell watching the outtakes of what seems to be this upcoming clip hyped me up for it, the way it’s shot really makes her just feel gigantic and both uncaring yet exited to toy with her, and yet somehow at the same time like you said incredibly intimate, I’m really exited for this one, like the shots you’ve posted from this one are just. Yeah I’m repeating myself but I’m really exited for this video lol, my personal fav stills out of this set are the 2nd and 7th one, all of them are amazing but those ones really stand out to me
