VR360 "Sugarcoated for Lauren Ashlyn"

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the sparse updates this month. I try not to clog up the page if I don't feel like I have anything substantive to add (that is, I try not to flood you all with filler!). I appreciate your patience with me these next two months, as life outside of here becomes more and more stressful as deadlines approach for my applications.

The unaware clip with Jennifer is still in a bit of a flux. Every time I think I've turned the corner on it, there seems to be a new setback. I thought I had found music initially, but as I kept returning to it I realized it didn't fit at all. I have since switched gears, and I am giving it a few days before I return to it, to give it fresh eyes/ears again. Every time I change up the music, I have to re-edit things slightly in order to make it all work coherently.

However, the good news is that I have the first clip with the new VR camera ready to go! I think Lauren did a good job with this one, my only complaint with it is that I had to do some weird things with the audio because the TV in the background was so distracting. I struggled with whether or not to keep the pitch so low that you couldn't hear anything vs. where I ultimately landed, which is elevated normally but slowed down from the clip itself. However, I tried to emphasize the reverb so that the words weren't as easy to decipher. Idk, in a way I think it's kind of cool, because there is something cruelly absurd about being eaten while you have to endure something so ridiculous in the background lol.

Lauren Ashlyn has left some sugary treats out on the table for quite some time now. Thinking you can steal one without being detected, you make your move. However, you quickly find yourself stuck in the bowl when Lauren finally decides to come back. Initially, she doesn't notice you while watching TV, but eventually she finds you. Slightly perturbed and grossed out by this discovery, Lauren eats around you for awhile until she decides to give you a try...

Shot in 60fps slow motion. No dialogue. Warning about the audio: since she is watching TV, the sound/atmosphere can be a bit loud at times during the clip.
