Upcoming Patreon Change

tl;dr
Apple force Patreon to remove 1st of the month billing system and adopt subscription billing,
so I will change to subscription billing on next month.

If you join with in-app purchased from iOS device you will get charge 30% more.
This effect only on new patron and people that join with iOS app.
If you not fall in these case, there's nothing to do.

From next month all patron will get all animation at different resolution base on tier.

Tier 2 will get 1080p video and Tier 3 will get 4K video (All Tier still get to see base 720p as early access)

Patreon will auto switch everyone to billing subscription on November 2024 (I can delay until November 2025 when they actually force change) but If I didn't change before November 2024, people from iOS device can't join.

What's this mean?

• For existing patron, nothing will change. You still get charge on first day of the month.

• For new (or return) patron, You will get charge on the same day of the month when you join
  ex. (If you join on 13th July, next month you will get charge on 13th August instead of 1st August)

What's gonna change?

• I will switch to billing subscription on 2st September 2024.

• If you join by in-app purchased from Apple device (iPhone/iPad) you will pay 30% more due to apple fee. So I highly recommend to join via web browser to avoid 30% up charged.
  *Note that you can still see any post with an apps. Just don't join with the apps.

What about reward(s)?

The reason I still use 1st of the month billing is to easily sent out reward since I only sent out base on day charged. (and still messed up with how Patreon DM system work)

• For new and return patron. Any new animation going forward from September 2024 will have a date range that you are eligible to get the full resolution animation (depends on tier you join).

  • The time range is 21 days before date of posting the animation and 21 days after posting. (or after 7 days of publics release whatever come later)

  • (Example.
    If I post next animation on 8 September 2024, Everybody that is a active membership on Tier 2 and 3 during 18 August - 29 September will get the high resolution of the animation)

  • Reward will sent out 2 week after the last eligible day.

• There's no change on current patron, since you still get charge on 1st day of the month, which always cover you.

FAQ

I was using iOS to subscribe on Patreon but am on the legacy tier (that doesn't exist anymore) and I wish to not use in-app purchased from apple, Can I still get the same legacy tier when I subscribe again with web browser?

• Yes, you can. Just message me and I will tell you how to do it. (Available until 31 December 2024)

Removing Older Post

I will remove older post from Patreon Reward 1 up to around Reward 50 start from next month, since link in these post are often unavailable and some of them are against Patreon TOS.

I might just keep the post but remove everything in the post

If you open link in these post (google drive link) please don't sent request to see animation since I can't doing anything about it.

You can always see all old animation that available in Membership tab.

Gumroad

Gumroad banned NSFW content a few month ago. This made purchasing previous HQ animation no longer available. So I remove discount code benefit from Patreon.

It might come back later on different website or I will just make an another tier altogether.
