As someone who has lost friendships to addiction and all the troubles that come with that journey, Dear My Friend resonates deeply with me. So many of Yoongi's songs deeply live in my soul. RM, to me, tends to write about grand concepts and the way the greater world relates to itself and impacts humanity. SUGA, to me, writes about how our mind relates to our soul. He's introspective and contemplative (RM is too, but somehow more analytical about it). RM and SUGA are both gifts to humanity as lyricists.
