Suga comes from Shooting Guard (because Yoongi is a big basketball fan), and as you guessed, Agust D is DT Suga backwards. Yoongi's struggle with depression is definitely ongoing. In an interview in 2021 he said "...it's almost like cold weather. It may come back in a cycle over a year, year and a half." In 2023 he confirmed that he still has periods of depression but that in general he is happier. His aim in writing these songs has come from his belief that when it comes to mental health "these emotions are not something that need to be hidden. They need to be discussed and expressed." and that he has found a lot of solace in being able to connect with people through his music; he credits that connection for being what's kept him alive. Although I am primarily a Carat, I'm also a huge Min Yoongi fan, because he's so candid and vulnerable in his music, and because he makes it with the intent on helping others to feel less alone, which IMHO is the real kicker when it comes to mental health. I just find that incredibly brave and admirable.
