It's my first time here at your Patreon but I love tripleS, so a few things I'd like to post about the letters: Hyerin (S2) to Yubin (S8) -> as they said they've been together since the very first subunit debut: AAA, then in Rising era, both are from LOVElution too, then of course Girls Never Die OT24 and now VV subunit. Also all Acid Angel members are here, they are even sit together Nakyoung-Yooyeon-Yubin-Hyerin. Yubin (S8) to Kaede (S9) -> i like how the production team paired the members for this letter exchanges, Kaede being S9 joined after S8 Yubin, and they are also born in the same year (2005), so they are 'chingu'. Kaede (S9) to Lynn (S17) -> both Japanese, Lynn joined in NXT team so she is part of the 8 last members to join tripleS, both being also amazing dance members in the team. Lynn (S17) to Nakyoung (S7) -> Lynn was so shy at first to Naky when she joined as she was her bias before she entered tripleS, and now she is so happy to be in the same team as Nakyoung. Nakyoung (S7) to Yooyeon (S5) -> Yooyeon is Naky's only unnie, as Yooyeon is the oldest in the entire team (2001) and Naky is from 2002, they are both AAA members too. Yooyeon (S5) to Hyerin (S2) -> also AAA, and part of the very first members, Hyerin being the leader but also the second maknae here in this VV unit after Yeonji, I think too she gets help and advice from Yooyeon in her leader role. Kotone (S11) to Jiyeon (S24) -> another pairing by age here, both 2004 members, both dance members too, and yes the last 4 four members joined tripleS after the concept was already decided and most probably the choreography as Jiyeon mentions, so they must've had some difficulties at first in joining the choreo and stuff, but the most 'senior' members like Kotone are there to help. Jiyeon (S24) to Yeonji (S12) -> curious about this pairing, they share their names in reverse order, and as Jiyeon majors in ballet and modern dance her emoji is a swan, Yeonji's last name is Kwak, so her emoji is a duck ^^ so I think Jiyeon likes this cute connection she has with Yeonji. (btw Yeonji is the third maknae in all tripleS) Yeonji (S12) to Kotone (S11) -> another pair that goes way back, they have consecutive numbers too, so Yeonji joined right after Kotone, during Rising era promotions. What is curious about this pair is that MODHAUS made them live in Tokyo HAUS for a while, I think they lived there for a month or so and got closer because of it, after that they joined the team and the dorms in Korea. We never seen again any tripleS member living in that Tokyo HAUS. Nien (S13) to Sohyun (S14) -> when there are consecutive number members I feel there is a special connection because it's the first time she welcomes a new member, I mean S1 Seoyeon has welcomed 23 member to the team, and Nien's first member after her was Sohyun. Sohyun (S14) to Xinyu (S15) -> they are a couple, the couple of tripleS, period. Lol. Their charms are almost opposite, they are husband and wife, and that's why they look so good together, Sohyun is a cool girl but with Xinyu she often gets shy a lot. They are both from 2002, part of tripleS unnies. Sohyun mentioned this is her second letter to Xinyu cause she already gave her one a while ago, a small letter, she made the effort too to write it in Chinese for her. Xinyu (S15) to Nien (S13) -> both knowing each other since Girls Planet 999, way before tripleS. Both are chinese speakers, Xinyu is from China and Nien is from Taiwan, they met again in tripleS and while Nien was already revealed as a member, Xinyu had already signed with MODAHUS but kept it secret from Nien too until she was revealed as S15, two numbers after Nien. And I could go on but I don't wanna spam much more than I already have. Could be interesting if you check the signal episodes, of course they are hundreds of episodes, or the abridged version a youtube fan channel already has and then catch up with the latest signal episodes from Girls Never Die era onwards.

2024-11-07 06:56:33 +0000 UTCThis episode definitely had me crying. Between Yubin, Hyerin, Xinyu, Nien, Jiyeon, Yeonji, Lynn... it was just so sweet. Yubin provided some additional commentary on why Hyerin's letter just hit home on fromm: WAV: why did you cry after reading "to yubam" (in the VV contents letter) Yubin: well, i can say it now. actually, everyone said that the 'hyebam' part was funny, but for me, it was a moment that made me cry. haha. it's just that i've never been in a different team from her, so without realising it, i think we developed a deep bond. because we hadn't been separated even once during those two years, having her by my side felt natural. but when i heard 'hyebam', i realised that so much time had passed and that we've been together for a long time, and that thought just hit me. actually, if it weren't for hyerin, i probably wouldn't have cried." Nien and Xinyu probably got the most from me tho, they really lean on each other so much for support through all these years through and since GP999 its been so sweet.

It was a daily show that documented their daily life and members joining tripleS throughout the series. 2024-10-30 12:41:39 +0000 UTCKaede, Lynn, Kotone and Mayu are Japanese. XInyu is Chinese, Nien is Taiwanese/Vietnamese and Sullin is Thai. Yes, the fans vote a lot of things, VV leader was voted by fans. Not all members in tripleS joined at the same time, on average 1 member joined tripleS every month, since it took 24 months to assemble 24 members. The members in the group also didn't know who was going to join and they filmed first meeting interactions on their official channel. Some surprises like, Jiwoo didn't know Yooyeon was going to join, they were both together in My Teenage Girl, the reaction of Jiwoo finding out was so funny. Same with the Girls Planet 999 members (Kotone, Nien, Xinyu). Also Jiwoo real life friend is Yubin, Jiwoo didn't know she was going to join either. Xinyu was hanging out with Nien in Korea, Nien already signed with Modhaus but Xinyu kept it a secret from Nien that she also has signed. Anyway many little stories like that, all of it on their main channel and translated. They have about 2000 videos on their channel now...

2024-10-29 21:35:05 +0000 UTCi love that everyone including the members ship sohyun and xinyu (tbh they might be the ones that ship themselves more than anyone else lmao) but seriously the first time i watched this i was doing so well not crying until the xinyu -> nien letter :,) theyve known eachother since girls planet 999 (along with kotone) so thats why its been 3 years

2024-10-29 21:29:20 +0000 UTCI think the idea of fan voting is really cool but it certainly comes with its flaws. Modhaus has given the fans the ability to dictate quite a lot when it comes to the structure of the group and while in theory this is a really cool thing it leads to some unfortunate side effects. Some things I simply feel should not be decided by fans and we have had some unfortunate examples of that in tripleS so far and also ARTMS since they use a similar system. I think Modhaus is still trying to strike a balance so that the system stays fair and balanced and when they do finally get there its gonna be amazing.

In fact a lot of the members were from different survival shows and joined the company after being eliminated. Kotone, Nien, and Xinyu were GP999. Jiwoo and Yooyeon were on My Teenage Girl. Chaewon came from Universe Ticket. I think its really cool that modhaus was able to give all these talented girls a second chance at fulfilling their dream.

2024-10-29 21:10:32 +0000 UTCHyerin was actually voted to be the leader by the fans. She was then given the ability to choose one member to join the unit and she ended up choosing Naky. Lynn and Yubin were chosen by the company and then the rest were voted into the unit by fans again.
