The dr./Cousin was definitely just messing with Shou Yi when he said he would get Shi De because he was tired of all the secrecy from Shi De and he also in his own way cares for his family and wanted to help Shi De out. I love Shi De as a character because as you pointed out he has a very dominant aura to him that could come across in a bad way but in his case he does it out of care (The entire plan of setting up the room to be locked in could have been bad but he just wanted to spend some time with his boy). Plus I love that he literally does not hide how he feels it's only Shou Yi who can't see it so it's so funny and sweet as he describes who he likes to the man himself and Shou Yi just tries to give advice without picking up on any of the hints. Also the actor YU who plays Shou Yi is the singer/songwriter and when Shi De sang for him he actually sang one of YU's songs which was funny because Shou Yi then complimented Shi De on the lyrics but really complimented himself 🤣

I hope you can watch Fighting Mr. 2nd as well -- TBF I haven't watched this season with you yet (catching up on backlog and planning to start on Tuesday).
