Thank you for reacting. Moonlight Chicken is one of the best BL's I've ever seen. Not only does it have three of my favorite BL ships, 7 of my favorite thai actors, my favorite GMMTV actor & director. But the story is so new and different in the BL world especially when it came out. The storytelling with the little details you get here & there with characters backgrounds and events that will turn out are really well done. The characters are realistic & raw so it makes them relatable to all the different problems. The setting is an underveloped area where most of our characters are just trying to get by everyday. The cinematography is also soo beautiful. Truly a top tier series.

"Midnight Series" is an anthology series from GMMTV that consists of three very short shows - "Midnight Motel", "Dirty Laundry" and "Moonlight Chicken".
"Moonlight Chicken" is the only BL here. The shows are not related to each other, but all have a similar vibe/theme - stories of underrepresented and/or stigmatised characters living their lives (mostly) at night. That's the only slight similarity between them.
I honestly liked all three series, so I'd recommend you to watch the other two on your own, if you ever want to! The actors are great... and I've had a huge crush on the lead actress in "Dirty Laundry" ever since that show haha.
In order of the release:
"Midnight Motel" is a dark comedy about the s*x industry. It has some serious and dangerous moments, and also a few funny bits here and there. But it's really heavy on the "DARK" comedy, so be prepared. The trauma of some of the characters is no joke.
"Dirty Laundry", on the other hand, is pure comedy; I laughed so hard the whole time. It's also a mystery drama, so our main characters get into a lot of over-the-top situations (that they overcomplicate themselves) in order to solve it, lol.
"Moonlight Chicken" is the only non-comedic series of the three. And you kinda already know what that show is like and what it's about, so that's that.
All in all, I think all three shows are great for a certain mood and were (at least for me) very interesting to watch.
