it's such a shame that English can never convey the meaning of these lyrics.. Chinese is SO poetic and beautiful, so sometimes translations make it a lot more shallow and superficial

I love to play it from beginning to end in order because it’s so cohesive, yet each song has its own distinct sound. WayV really excelled at some of the popular trends (ex. synth-pop was EVERYWHERE in 2020, and “After Midnight” was the best of the bunch in kpop – or cpop in this case – for me). “Only Human” is my favorite WayV song. (Btw, the Mandarin version of “Bad Alive” on the album is much better than the English version, IMO.) Also your question @ 8:10 – yes that was Xiaojun. 13:42 – I laughed because I think of Boyz II Men every time I hear that line!
