This album and part 2 are both such masterpieces, it was devastating that he didn't get to tour them, especially seeing as he might have squeezed a few dates in just before covid if the album hadn't been repeatedly delayed. Strangers is my favourite too, though Nemo is a very close second. The tango instrumental in Waiting For is such an interesting choice and I always feel hypnotised when I listen to Clockwork.

2022-03-13 01:05:32 +0000 UTCThe Album title was Ironic ..A kinda rebellion against expectations and preconceptions people had of Taemin..and to show new beginning and direction for his career...Clockwork and 2kids are my favourites of the ballad style...I like 2 Kids because it's sad but in a reminiscing way without bitterness..It's nice to hear that and also I really like the message of understanding, learning and accounting for the past faults in 'your' own behaviour/actions rather than a breakup that just 'happens', the 'evil ex' or I was a d**k but I still want you but I'm just gonna be exactly same ok?....We need more songs like this.. especially from male singers..it's a good message ....But...arrgh.. I mean, I love them all ...I think I just go with the one that suits my mood at the time 😆..Famous and Criminal are just awesome..I loved the birthday present of Just you and Me M/V ..more contemporary..yay..😁..Thanks Taeminne 👶🧀.

Breaking the assumptions, stereotypes about himself - since he's known as "the dancer". Basically it's a bit rebellious. I think he talked about this in a Forbes interview.

Criminal is one of the few exceptions where the title track is my favourite song on the album, it's sooo underrated! I like it just as much as when it first dropped.

2021-12-21 21:32:54 +0000 UTCthank youuuu ahh my favorite albums i was waiting for it!! ‘never gonna dance again’ is because people focus a lot on his dancing and tend to overlook his vocals when he’s equally talented. but he served us both vocals and the best choreos haha. it was supposed to be the name of his solo tour that unfortunately got cancelled due to covid in my opinion ngda albums perfectly highlight how much his vocals has improved over past 12 years, the range of different genres he can do, his artistry and mastery over his craft. it felt like i wasn’t just listening an album but watching a movie called ‘taemin’ or walking in a museum or something. literally you can’t even put him into a certain genre, it’s taeminpop indeed. the concepts of the songs, lyrics, composition, vocals, everything is gorgeous and authentic i’d also recommend reading the lyrics for black rose and just me and you! they’re very beautiful and full of metaphors clockwork and strangers are my favorites of this album too, clockwork is literally a masterpiece. it was one of the best k-pop b-sides of 2020. taemin said it was recorded 3 years before the album release. overall he worked on these albums for the longest time can’t wait for act 2, you haven’t heard 6 songs from it. there will be more piano :) there is a live video for the song ‘be your enemy’, but it’s only taemin who sings in the live, the studio version is featuring wendy from red velvet. i also highly recommend this lyric video for ‘think of you’, it has the right translation (the most popular one is incorrect) https://youtu.be/x3erge2_kjo
