Functional Inventory Preview

Here's a quick preview of the inventory screen in the upcoming RPG build. In future builds there will be a LOT of items, so I'll be separating them out into different categories. But as of now Sophia can eat consumables and she can use tools like lockpicks to open doors.

As of now I am planning to have a limitless inventory. And the Nectar of the Gods is going to be the standard healing item of the game, and you can get more of them at nectar fountains.

Wow, this is looking way more involved with the RPG mechanics than I ever expected for a game like this - and I mean that in a good way ^_^. Outta curiosity, is the inventory going to have something like a max cap to it or the like that you have to unlock with stuff like increasing Sophia's weight (bigger booty = bigger pack it can carry), or is it like the Ultima games where you can just carry whatever you want in whatever quantities? Asking out of interest as to whether stuff like "storage runs" can be expected to be a thing or not. Also, I can't recall if I saw that nectar of the gods item before; that a new consummable, or is it a plot item?
