Thoughts on Fetish Games
Added 2021-02-16 04:04:01 +0000 UTCSomething I've realized I want to focus on in future fetish games is having the player be able to play the game at their own pace. By that I mean, games that are more narrative-driven and exploration-driven, instead of games that are based on reflex. I also want to make games in which there's a lot more interacting with the subject, like the belly slap in Yuletide Sophia. They are fetish games after all.
I have one more small fetish game I'm planning to release that will be mostly reflex-based, afterwards I would like to do a paradigm shift towards fetish games that are much more player-pace-driven.
Any thoughts on this? Let me know!

Not really suggestions, since I have a game planned out that I'm hoping to work on between my other projects. But if there's something you'd like to see in such a game I'm always open to hearing feedback from patrons.

2021-02-16 19:30:57 +0000 UTCNothing constructive to add from a mechanical/developmental standpoint, but I would like to toss my two cents towards player pacing. As a tabletop player, being allowed to decide the pacing is a big draw towards enjoyment; I lack the coordination for reaction-based play (despite my love for Tetris, it took many attempts to beat YT Sophia), so something less pressuring would be nice. I enjoy your work in any form, and it's up to you, of course...but similar to how I can take time to enjoy your images, I would really enjoy the opportunity to do so with your images in motion in the medium of games.

2021-02-16 19:03:33 +0000 UTCI agree. Even though I'm really happy with how Yuletide Sophia and Ski Free 2 came out and enjoy them, I really want the player to actually have time to enjoy the whole fetish bits. I have some ideas on how to accomplish this in upcoming games.

2021-02-16 04:11:48 +0000 UTCIβve enjoyed both games youβve made so far, and the little touches like the belly slap are π I feel very concentrated on reacting to the game mechanic and that I miss small things on the character such as belly size changes in the ski monster while I panic at how close it is and not having an egg/skull. I do feel like itβs very rewarding to complete them, though, as the final big belly scene is definitely worth it. A slower pace game that focuses more on puzzles/non-reaction mechanics would be nice and a good change of scenery; but I donβt really have any suggestions how to go about it. In either case, I enjoy your games and look forward to any you make in the future!
