Personal: Life Update

This isn't a happy one.

I currently own a very elderly dog. Her name is Ceri, and she's a lurcher/german shepherd mix. I've owned her for 13 years almost, and she's around 15 years old, give or take a few months. I grew up with her. She's my everything.

She won't be around much longer.

This weekend I've been full-time caring for her while my parents are on holiday, returning tomorrow night. Including a rushed visit to the emergency vet last night. She's not doing great. I'm not sure I've got a full week left with her, at this point.

I'm saying this here, because it's affecting my work output. And I just want to give a heads up about that. I'm still working, still taking on and putting out commissions, but I've cancelled October's YCH, and my working hours and focus/energy are drastically reduced. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to work on Lavender as much as I'd like.

I don't know what the future holds, or when anything will happen, but I know the cards that'll be laid down and I know I'm not going to be ready when they are. Be patient, be kind, please.
