Welcome back Fellow Darkish!
In the murky twilight of the tent, the guards’ fangs and blades glisten with a sinister gleam beneath the torchlight.
One of them undoubtedly holds the keys to the cage, yet attacking them head-on would surely draw the entire camp’s attention.
What cunning plan will you devise to free your companion?

MAP DESCRIPTION:
Upon entering the Orc Command Tent, your attention is immediately drawn to the massive stone chair that looms before you.
Your eyes first settle on the animal skulls adorning what appears to be a rough-hewn throne, then drift to the unmistakably humanoid bones hanging along the entire perimeter of the tent.
The bones, the iron tang of weapons, the warm glow of the fire—all combined with the oppressive red light reflected by the fabric—lend the room a dangerous, foreboding atmosphere, sending a jolt of tension down even the most impressionable spine.
The grotesque, colossal weapons scattered about, awaiting use, speak volumes about the might and ferocity of the people who forge and wield them.
The great stone table hosts the heated discussions of the Orc Commanders, who gather around to confer with the General and decide the horde’s next moves.
At the entrance, flanked by guards, a sturdy metal-barred cage stands ready to receive the unfortunate souls the Orc General deems worthy of a personal interrogation.
It’s best to enter that tent only if you hold an invitation… and even then, it might not be the best idea.
NOTES
Orc Command Tent offers the perfect battleground for a powerful and challenging boss fight in a confined space, where escape is difficult and the group must remain cohesive to minimize losses.
The number of enemies and their strength are extremely manageable, rewarding clever timing or punishing particularly disastrous choices.
The Cage—or rather, the prisoner within—might be the main reason for your visit. Will you negotiate for his freedom or forcefully break him out?
The keys to the cage could be on a guard or even on the Boss, but in any case, we’ve placed a set of keys on the table near the General’s Chair.
The Orc General is a dangerous and imposing figure, even if you enter the camp as allies. Use the map to convey the atmosphere through even the simplest dialogue, hinting at the dire situation the party faces.
Orc Settlement is the external area of this map; specifically, it is the large tent decorated with the skull in the upper left.

Welcome back, Fellow Darkish!
Let’s continue our adventure among the Orcs with the Orc Command Tent!
We wanted to immediately expand on this theme, enriching it with this interior design that we felt was absolutely essential.
Exploring the camp covertly—or finding a way to distract the enemies—will now reward players even more.
Perhaps they’ll gain easier access to the Command Tent, freeing the captive hostage or defeating the leader without drawing the entire army’s attention!
We hope we’ve captured the camp’s atmosphere, so that as you play, you can almost hear the war drums echoing amidst the flames.
Leave us a like or a comment to let us know what you think; your feedback is always invaluable!
That’s all for this map, Fellow Darkish.
We wish you, as always, great adventures and NAT20s,
