Welcome back Fellow Darkish!
The ancient temple ruins are cold and damp. The only sounds are the gentle lapping of water and the pulsing of portals in the hands of the Goddess.
The enormous statue seems to watch you intently with its beautiful stone eyes.

MAP DESCRIPTION:
Goddess Sanctuary is a large and ancient ruined temple.
Water has invaded every corner of the room, yet it hasn’t submerged the walkway that once likely hosted the priestesses and priests performing rituals around the central basin.
The temple’s vastness suggests it once teemed with worshippers, capable of gathering dozens upon dozens of people.
Mysterious glowing runes shine on the stones that slowly rotate on the four pedestals around the basin.
Dominating the temple is an enormous and magnificent statue of a winged Goddess, perhaps watching benevolently over those who come to pay homage.
Dimensional portals open on her beautiful hands, accessible to two side staircases.
What secrets does the temple hold, and where do the portals lead?
Will you venture inside or prevent whatever might emerge from the temple from invading the surroundings?
We’re curious to find out!
NOTES
Goddess Temple is a perfect arena, with elevations for ranged attacks and ruins to hide behind, allowing for dynamic combat that showcases both melee and ranged fighters.
Defeat the monsters to pass through the portals, or prevent them from doing so!
The versions allow for numerous plotlines and the development of mechanisms and puzzles to solve to activate or deactivate the portals!
The portals can lead to unknown places or serve as convenient teleporters to specific locations. Will you travel to save yourselves or bring salvation to the places you visit?
Cultists and various ill-intentioned individuals interested in the portals are perfect enemies for this map.
The glowing runes on the stones in the center of the hall, as well as the various decorations scattered throughout the ruins, can reveal much to those who know how to read them.
