Underground Entrance Pack

Welcome back and welcome to the new Fellow Darkish!

Last week you finally began to see the notorious Helatrex cult in action and the horrors they unleashed in the city. The corruption in Norogrod is everywhere, and you, adventurers, must try to contain the damage.

To achieve it, you might, for example, introduce yourself to the Brunilde Shop and try to find out where hides the secret passage that leads to the underground where the Cult has its basis.

In this pack, you will find three different locations:

The Alley

Brunilde Shop is placed on a small road in the heart of the Old Town. This infamous area will be a perfect arena for your fights, thanks to the walkable roofs where you may explore or attack or be attacked.

The smaller side alleys are good to hide, to spy on the shop or, why not, exchange some juicy information.

Brunilde Shop

The most classic of shops, filthy and full of a mix of rubbish and treasures. The shop is discharged but provided. You may find what you need, as long as you can be satisfied with the quality.

The stairs lead to the first floor, where you will find Brunilde's room. It's tiny, but with all she needs.

Back on the ground floor, covered by chests and objects, we find a trapdoor, the entrance to the basement.

The Sewer Entrance

The first half room seems like a common old storage, but for the details of blood stains on the floor and chains on the ground that a common old storage hasn't got.

The more cautious adventurers will try to move the large wooden furniture resting on the wall and, if what you were looking for were troubles, then there you are.

The furniture hides a direct entrance to Norogrod's Sewer, whose unhealthy sewage pours into the pipes and impregnates the air of the room (you may consider cutting the map to keep the second room hidden until the players find the secret passage).

Not only do the sewer drains come out of that hole in the wall, but the aberrant mass also comes out on the floor and walls, corrupting everything it touches.

NPC

Brunilde. Old, frail, with a creepy smile and curious little eyes. This is how shows herself as the owner of the shop that hides one of the entrances to the Underground of the city and then access to the Halls of Worship of Helatrex.

Depending on the intentions of the adventurers, she could welcome you with politeness... or with a small knife. No matter how she behaves, be careful. This old lady is an evil and gossipy viper that will bring you trouble even at best.

She is endowed with a decidedly unexpected strength, out of the average even for a young man, thanks to the evil influences of the Fleshering, to which she is exposed for a long time. Often surrounded by Aberrations and cult Followers, no horror is too much for her.

PROLOGUE

Norogrod is in chaos. The streets are covered in blood. Innocent people are dragged out of their homes and slaughtered in the name of the blasphemous goddess. The city militia is not large enough to suppress the revolt. How can such villainy be stopped? The only way is to find an entrance to the basement and infiltrate the heart of the cult. You have to cut off the head of the snake!
