2025-04-29 07:38:27 +0000 UTCThe Pict stones found in Scotland and the isles bear beautiful carved animals and other pictures. While they are now colorless, they were once painted with beautiful old colors. I have one of the boars, colored to match the original, tattooed on my arm. The famous blue woad was not the only color used by the Picts. And they dyed cloth with it too. So… a pict lady in blue jeans (maybe with acid washed patters to match the body paint could represent a modern take? With a rugby bat for a weapon?
