Description

This mod adds genre-d couple dancing for your sims. If your sim is a celebrity, they will gain fame. Non celebs get a reputation boost.

Dances can be selected by clicking sims, stereos and dancefloors.

Pie Menus

Via Sims: Perform / Practice

• Perform option has crowd reaction and you guessed it, music. Practice has neither.

Via Stereo

• No music, no crowd reaction. Lead dancer will ask for permission to dance first.

Via Dancefloors

• Nearby sims will crowd around and cheer for dancing sims. 
• Fulfils the First Dance Goal from My Wedding Stories.
• Sims will route away if dancefloor is being used or blocked by other sims.
• Level 3 and above dances work best with large-sized dance floors (4x4 or 5x5).

Details

• Other sims can react to your sims dancing. 
• Dancers will get custom buffs.
• Audience may get buffs from watching.

Each dance will...
- Increase Fame.  
- Increase Dance skill.
- Increase Relationship.
- Increase Energetic Lifestyle Gain.  
- Increase Reputation.  
- Increase fit gain.  
- Reduce need for dance (Dance Machine trait)  
- Reduce need for activity (Active Trait)  
- Reduce fat.
- Provide dance-related preferences, traits and sentiments where applicable. (i.e. Now and Forever Dance Sentiment)

Conflict

This mod overrides GetTogether's Show Off Moves and Group Dances simply to give them their own pie menu category.

Installation

1. Remove:
      - any previous versions
      - CoupleDanceMod_AddOnStereoSupport (Obsolete)
      - CoupleDance_Mod_v1.2 (Obsolete)

2. Download both files below into your mods folder.
**Place scripts no more than 1 subfolder deep.**
