Blanche is determined to gain experience that he can use against Kris by fighting other Fire-type Pokémon. So she eventually found Team Pyre, and had a fierce battle with Vulcan. Blanche ended up defeating Vulcan by a small margin and gained a lot of useful experience from him (in every sense of the word!). But obviously because of the restraint of types, the process of her digesting Vulcan was not very smooth...
