People being hit by "page under review" and planning for the future...
Added 2019-04-01 11:55:29 +0000 UTCIt seems more and more vore artists are being put under review by Patreon staff for questionable content. From the stories I hear about people needing to purge most of their content, this is cause for concern for me since I have a ton of pics uploaded here by now. I'm making this post so that I can sit down with you guys and decide the best course of action for the future in case I'm hit, which seems more likely.
I was thinking that all questionable content or all content in general can be uploaded to a secondary Discord server, where people can also discuss the content. I was going to make a secondary server either way because of a change of plans, but that was meant to be in the far distant future. Another option perhaps could be using Dropbox.
Please discuss below any suggestions or whatever you have in relation to this issue going around. Perhaps some might know of some methods that creators are already using to bypass this? Thanks for reading!

Hey, so I'm a patron now!

2019-04-05 06:34:01 +0000 UTCI can't think of anything to say that hasn't been said already. I think a second server or an outside website is going to be your best bet, or possibly having some way of automatically messaging pictures to your patrons.
2019-04-03 16:42:08 +0000 UTCAnother artist ive followed from the start, Danza, uses dropbox himself for all his works and I havent seen nor heard of anything from his end about a issue so thats a viable option

2019-04-01 21:39:04 +0000 UTCIt's more a method for you guys to get art from an external source, so as long as it isn't posted here, it should be fine.

2019-04-01 21:38:38 +0000 UTCOh, or would it be the subscription and everything here would still work just we'd have to access the content from those means?

2019-04-01 20:52:34 +0000 UTCThat does suck and I hope you don't get hit. I honestly just got here and started subscribing recently and would genuinely be terrible if this all went down now. Discord and dropbox are fine ideas but how does that go towards supporting you?

2019-04-01 20:51:38 +0000 UTCThat’s very thoughtful and conscientious of you! My own feelings are that juggling fewer Discord servers is ultimately less annoying. But others may feel otherwise. Of course, if there’s a specific “members-only” area of the current Discord regulated by channel privileges, folks can always turn off general notifications and then it won’t even matter how many people are in the primary, if they’re only interacting with folks in the pledge-controlled areas.

2019-04-01 17:47:12 +0000 UTCWell considering you don't do NSFW stuff I believe you should be fine since they usually go after that. The only other possibility is a jerk causing problems for others as well but for you personally I do feel like you should be alright. NOW if things somehow go south (which hopefully it shouldn't. )for alternatives I wouldn't mind a more focused second Discord server for your work. Dropbox would be fine as well which you could setup passwords for the zips thru it if need be.

2019-04-01 15:58:33 +0000 UTCI could certainly put everything in the primary server, it’s just there are so many channels in there already that I figured having a more focused second server would be better. People might also not be comfortable joining a server as populated as the primary one.

2019-04-01 15:26:51 +0000 UTCPersonally, I would not be in favor of an alternate Discord server. If the images cannot be linked in an email, an organized Dropbox or links to a third-party/independent gallery could be an option (Karbo did something like this, with a password to protect access.) I understand that discussing these pictures is valuable and fun, but surely the primary Discord could accomplish that? If the primary Discord cannot be linked directly on Patreon, invites could be sent out via email directly to supporters.

2019-04-01 15:13:42 +0000 UTCFor me personally, I think a secondary Discord server would be a fantastic alternative should Patreon decide to put you under review, mainly because Discord is something I check more regularly then the e-mail under my pateron, thus getting updates more frequently.
