You're assuming a lot about me for preferring one show in dub over who knows how many shows I've watched in the original Japanese voices. All I mentioned was preferring DBZ in English, because Goku sounds younger then his own child, which weirded me out. I also like Sailor Moon in both Japanese and English dubs. And cannot stand One Piece in English, only watch it in Japanese. My point is, some series just don't hold up in certain versions, whether it's the original or the dub-over.

We who watch sub feel the same about dub voices. It just literally rips off the originality of the anime. If I can't watch it how it used to be and how it was created first then I don't watch it. Is like watching dub version of famous movies from English to dub in my language. It wouldn't make sense and the movie would just lose its originality. I get it dub it is for people who don't like the Japanese or rather don't like the sound of the words but for me is not about liking it or not.watching the anime unmodified it is the only thing I can do cuz I feel if I watch it any other version then the original. Then for me is not the anime I'm supposed to watch. It is something completely different. Respect for Boom watching it how you suppose to.

I suppose, though I was never able to finish Dragon Ball and I watched the English dub of that, too. XD

Japanese Goku is a lot easier to adjust to when you start from the beginning. It's the same actress the entire time so you hear him as a child and how his voice changes a bit as he gets older. If you start in the middle of the story where he is an adult then it is jarring especially if you are only used to the English version.

The only DBZ I enjoyed was the original Dragon Ball Z (dub). I tried to watch it in Japanese, and Goku sounds younger then his own child, so... XD Weirded me out. And KAI was far too clean, ruined the roughness of the bloody fights of the original. But I have no clue on Super or the other shows, as I dropped after KAI was airing. =D

Yeah, there is a reason Law is so damn popular, (he was the highest ranked non-Straw Hat on the world wide popularity poll last year) and this is just a taste of that.

yes react to dbz but can you please do it after you get caught up to one piece? If you were to watch DBZ you should probably watch the whole series and not just DBZ or DBS.

The dumbest you can do is start shivering to heat your body. Relaxy and walk at a steady pace to make ground.
Also Overlord Volume 15 is coming in August

TBH I was looking up crazy links to One Piece and pirates in general and was reading about Davy Johns Locker on Wikipedia and found the connection to Duffy. I shrugged and noticed it. The next day I was watching Ruff's reaction on the last episode here, 44:11 and Usopp said Duffy.....I'm about to believe that there really is no coincidences in this world....something sent from heaven

On 44:11
Davy Jones Locker theory of my own for what the D stands for, from Wikipedia (Davy johns locker)
The 1898 Dictionary of Phrase and Fable connects Davy to the West-Indian Duppy (Duffy) and Jones to biblical Jonah:
He’s gone to Jones' locker, i.e. he is dead. Jones is a corruption of Jonah, the prophet, who was thrown into the sea. Locker, in seaman’s phrase, means any receptacle for private stores; and Duffy is a ghost or spirit among the West Indian negroes. So the whole phrase is, "He is gone to the place of safe keeping, where Duffy Jonah was sent to.

in Wano that I assume is based on 1800s samurais who had a strong sense of honor and protective to their families and heir that would one day take over their position and carry their name onward. I think about Kuina and her dad who didn't want her to take over the Dojo since she was a girl. I guess not everybody is like that but it seems they somewhat carry older traditions.

Uhm. I don't know if it's right to say but this I feel is the start of the Endgame. It's better to pay even more attention to things now^^
