Spring poll time for every Gob, Orc and Tief!

This poll will be up From April 19 (10pm CET) to April 23 (10pm CET).

And the chosen suggestions are:

1. Lunar Labor Of Love - In the future, humans have finally started the project of terraforming various local bodies in the Solar System. But all major ships have to depart from the Lunar Transit Exchange Station as a matter of safety for Earth. The LTES is a marvel of human ingenuity, but it requires constant long-term maintenance, which humans aren't really well-suited for on the low-gravity satellite.

The solution would be robots but even in the future, AI isn't really up for the task. So the alternative is to test if humans can be turned into robots instead. The Lunar Transit Authorities greenlight the project and quickly scoops up a couple of willing participants. Two friends, a scrawny little guy who's happy to start a new life, and an outgoing athletic gal who's stoked to help humanity colonize the Solar System. Perfect candidates too, since the prototype models the LTA want to test out is a Service Droid and a Heavy Duty Labor Bot.

But during the conversion process, somewhere a 1 gets confused with a 0 and the model types get switched between the two friends. When the process is done, the "guy" has become the distinctly female-appearing gigantic amazonian labor bot and the "gal" is now a diminutive, curvy femboy service droid. Upset at first, the LTA assures them that since they're both robots, changing their model types shouldn't be impossible, but they don't have the resources for it right now and they're really behind schedule on the tests. So for now, the two friends will just have to deal with their situations.

Both friends begin their work as LTES employees and while it starts rough, the two robo-buddies quickly adjust to their positions. The Labor Bot lady actually really likes working in the cargo bays, not having to talk to that many people. While the Service Droid boy loves to engage with all the different humans that come by on a constant basis.

And although their shifts are long, the two friends are efficient enough that they often meet up after hours to catch up and sometimes even see if there are any compatibility issues between their model types ;)

2. Rebel Without A Tail - Bastillia's Argent Attendant Academy is known for training and teaching the Seventh Realm's best and finest butlers, maids, gardeners and all servants in between. But their track record isn't 100% perfect...

When an effeminate and quiet young man gets sent to the AAA (you may laugh at the abbreviation) in the hopes that he'll learn some manners, what instead happens is the opposite. Under the pressure to conform and through the incredibly boring lectures and lessons, our eggtagonist finds that it's actually a lot more fun to be a rebel.

Through hijinks and pranks, some of which literally blow up in her own face, she starts to truly embrace her inner demon. And it begins to show as her family's ancient and forgotten heritage begins to bubble to the surface, changing her into a Tief woman.

As the semester comes to a close, she's summoned by the headmaster of the AAA to be told that she's not going to be eligible for another season and that the Academy really just wants her out of their hair as fast as possible. Which serves her pretty well after all, this whole "learning some manners" was never going to work out anyway.

3. The Real (And Annoying) Life Of A Succubus - A local Succubus has had more than enough with all the people around her trying to make advances on her. First, she's not looking for someone right now. Second, not all Succubi want sex all the time. Third- Hold on, someone’s at the door again!

Quite annoyed she goes to answer it with her already practiced rejection speech. The person just looks at her confused, they’re here for the dark magic lessons she posted on “SpookySpellz.com.” Eyeing the "boy" up and down for a bit, she realizes that there's more to them than just an interest in the arcane arts and lets them in.

A friendship starts to bloom over the time they spend together, mixing potions, writing scrolls and so on. And obviously the young "lad" starts to gradually absorb some of their succubus teacher and friend's demonic energies. The lass blooms into a waifish demon, somewhere between a Succubus and an Imp.

At the end of it all, the two remain friends rather than romantic partners, but luckily their closeness helps with making it clear that neither are available.

4. Generation Ship - In the future, an eggy young man is awoken for their 15 month rotation as skeleton crew on a sleeper ship - only to find their sole companion for the time is a purple-skinned, amazonian, altersex post-human with blazing eyes who is neither lacking nor subtle in her endowments, and awakens something strongly in our eggtagonist. They're so down bad they fail to catch the technobabble from the ship's AI, babbling on something about extensive genetic treatments to repair damage from stellar radiation, importance of not cross-contaminating samples, etc. Surely that won't be important.

For the next 15 months, 'little accidents' and half-denied moments of intimacy gets the two crewmates to grow closer to one another. Pretty soon our eggtagonist starts having some unexpected reactions to their gene treatments - leaving them smaller, softer, and all the more suited for their escalating relationship with their crewmate - and they take to it with gusto. All the more when those changes give her a new way to appreciate his partner's assets.

Months later into their shifts, the eggtagonist has cracked and bloomed into an expecting femme altersex mother who, with his partner, has made a few alterations to their living quarters where things are considerably more comfortable and romantic. Not to mention more fit for raising a child, the very first of a generation of post-humans. Though surely not the last as the couple have sneakily altered some of the chems flowing through the cryo-tanks that the other humans are sleeping in. When they arrive on their new homeworld, all of them will be far more fit for their new environment.

5. Artist's Suggestion: Human Reconstruction Therapy - In the Empire Bay world, the most common way of body-alteration is through CRISPR gene editing, but there exists another much more powerful means of transformation, though its effects are less predictable.

People whose health conditions may preclude them from gene editing may instead perform Human Reconstruction Therapy, or "HRT." A single treatment warps the physical reality of the patient and over the course of a couple of months, they'll change into a new form that fits them much better. Our protagonist in this story is a femme trans girl who's early in her transition but can't use CRISPR and doesn't want to wait for the effects of traditional treatments.

After her HRT session, her body changes in ways that she never could have expected. Beginning with people saying her hands are much colder than usual. And then having the inexplicable ability to outrun cars. One morning it gets a little bit worrying as she wakes up finding teeth on her pillow and when she looks in the mirror her own mouth has a set of metal chompers.

It starts to become obvious what she's becoming when she sees strange light flickers in the corners of her eyes. She's becoming some kind of cyborg. But just as this becomes apparent, she grows a lot more confident, almost bossy, in her demeanor. By the end of her (fairly literal) reconstruction, she's shed her femme identity in favor of one that's a lot more butch and dommy.
