You may not like it, but this is it.

There was a point a few hundred years ago in the Seventh Realm when Goblin men looked a bit different. Short, stout and muscular. But the reigning Gob-Queen of the time decided to change that after a particularly nasty quarrel with one of her suitors. She went down into the vault where the Gilded Cornerstone had been secured and with the stone's magic she altered the course of Goblin men forever. Even though she told herself that she'd return things to normal after a week or so.

But the Gob-Queen forgot about all of that, and since no one other than she would ever remember a time when Goblin men weren't just as femmey and subby as Goblin women, no future Gob-Queen would see a reason to change things. After all, this is what a normal Goblin man looks like now. Curvy, cute and bottom-heavy.
