Long Comic Poll!
Added 2024-08-11 08:00:06 +0000 UTCAfter a solid break from long comics after From Rags To Riches, it's now time to start a new long comic. Got some great suggestions, some were very hard to reject, but I think the ones chosen will be a lot of fun for us all.
This poll will be up from August 11 (10am CET) to August 16 (10pm CET).
And the five options are:
-
1. Oblivious Ascension - In a generic fantasy setting, a young mousey femme-presenting egg dreams of a kinder and less unjust world. Fed up with the oppressive feudal system she's lived under for her entire life, she sets out on an adventure to see if a better world can be found elsewhere.
At the start of her journey, she sees a band of corrupt knights bullying a Fur Gnome, one of the "lesser kindred" of this realm. Out of fear she initially chooses to stay out of it, but as the little critter yells out for help, she has a change of heart and outwits the knights into leaving the Fur Gnome alone. The Gnome thanks her dearly for the help and decides to join her on her adventure, since unlike the girl, they have some survival skills that can help in the wilds.
It is also after this encounter with the knights that the young woman concludes that if her adventure is to have any meaning, she must continue being helpful.
Unbeknownst to both her and her Fur Gnome companion, the spirits of the land, long abused by mortals, are listening in on their conversation and decides to give the young woman a blessing that'll help her as long as she remains helpful to others.
Over the course of weeks and months, she and her companion are able to help many people with their plights, and each time she makes a difference, the blessing placed upon her makes her grow stronger and taller. It continues this way without notice until the difference in size can't be ignored, and at that point she's several feet taller and as astoundingly muscular as she is beautiful. And it is at that point that the spirits make themselves appear before the woman and explain to her that her good deeds have turned her into a divine avatar of kindness and that she will continue growing in power and in reputation as long as she continues to do good.
[Generic fantasy, average-sized mousey femme egg into amazon and then into divine avatar, mini-giantess, breast expansion, female muscle growth]

2. Just Like My Japanese Anime - A 30-something AMAB Egg and fan of the Isekai genre finds themselves in Gateworld where they immediately begin trying to apply Isekai logic to their new circumstances. At first this doesn't get them into too much trouble as they arrive through the remote Gate in the N'Chaengi Jungle, far from the nearest settlement. Nonetheless they venture south, along the Renoi River and eventually find themselves in the city of Barcel, underneath the crown of the World Tree where the Sapliniers, dryadic tree folk with long green hair, live.
Still stuck in a mindset that all of this is just like their Japanese anime (Metal Gear Awesome, anyone?), they obnoxiously try to get the scope of what terrible threat the world is facing and how they, the destined hero from Earth, will conquer it. But the Kindred around them only respond with confusion and glazed looks. One of them, a turrist like our eggtagonist, try to explain the situation but they mistake the advice as an invitation to their "Adventuring Party." Which in reality is just a couple of turrists piloting a paddlewheeler up and down the Renoi with trade goods. Nonetheless, they invite them along, if only because they'd feel guilty leaving them alone to be eaten by a Naga later on.
The trio of turrists, a Shyn (think succubus/incubus), a Hoblin (think Seventh Realm Goblin but far less curvy) and an untransformed Humie, begins their journey south towards the city of Tenebria. And along the journey, the Humie Egg tries desperately to find any reason to turn their situation into an exciting Isekai-esque adventure, which usually just ends with the other two having to save them out of situations that are more embarrassing than dangerous. It is however at the start of this trip south that they begin to slowly transform into a curvaceous lady Saplinier.
Will our Eggtagonist realize that this isn't technically an Isekai? Will their companions give up on saving them? Will the transformation be pretty hot? Will there be casual sex? Find out in the next episode of Dragon Ball -I mean- yes, that will most likely happen in this comic.

3. Year of the Dragon Forever 2 - Barista Boogaloo - When Mischelle, the human, turned into Mischelle, the Dragon Queen, her transformation occurred overnight (as did all the other Dragon Queens'), but the rest of the world took a little longer to change under the reign of the Dragon Queens. In particular the way that men transformed into princesses took some time as they changed both physically and attitude-wise.
One such princess-to-be began his transformational journey as a mid-forties, balding store manager at a typical franchised coffee shop where the cup sizes are small and the prices are high. As the Dragon Queens' influence over the world extends and their magical castles "infect" the infrastructure of the cities they're in, the men of the world begin to act more friendly and happy towards everyone around them. And they start noticing how their clothes mysteriously gain a more delicate quality to them. And one day, all male headdresses seem to be gone. All caps, beanies and other hats replaced by fancy tiaras, and furthermore, no man alive can stand being awake for a moment without their precious new headwear. But that doesn't bother them too much since male-pattern baldness disappeared at the same time. Something our princess-to-be finds delightful.
As raven-black hair grows to his waist over the days, his and every other man's body in the world softens and shrinks into a dainty and femme shape. Something their clothes adapt to just as quickly. Every single pair of slacks, jeans, sweatpants and anything in-between just promptly vanishes as everyone's tops extend down to the ground and eventually poofs out into ball-gown shapes. Impractically wide and causing a lot of little inconveniences in their daily lives, the men, now princesses, can't for the life of them choose to wear something more practical as they just adore complimenting each other for their lovely dresses. They simply choose to adapt, giving each other plenty of space and performing everyday tasks slower and more gracefully.
It is at this point that our mid-forties (though not looking a day over 30) princess realizes that he hasn't actually done any managerial tasks for days. He and his coworker princesses have simply communicated so amicably and agreeably with each other that the coffee shop has gotten a completely flat hierarchy. The Dragon Queens' influence over the world has made it completely bereft of senseless and pointless conflicts.
Which is all for the better, he thinks in agreement with his fellow barista princesses.

4. The POW (Pretty Odd Way of) Exchange - The war wages on between West Galria and the Dywinnican Elves, but with some recent help from the Morundian Nightfolk, the scales are tipped a little less favorably towards the Elves. They still have the advantage however and during a successful offensive, a warband of Elves capture a group of Human surrenderers. Fearful of their fate at the hands of the "cruel and barbaric Elves," they plead for mercy, only for the Elves to state plainly that they will be treated well. The Humans are prisoners of war and they'd be worth more as part of a POW exchange with the West Galrians.
Unfortunately, once the Humans and their captors return to their war camp, they find out that much of the Human food rations they looted from the Human Camp have gone foul for some reason. The Elves had planned on givng those foodstuffs to the Humans in order to save on their own food, but now they have no other option than to share. But some of the Humans are reluctant to accept Elvish food. They either believe it to be poisonous or that it can transform them into Elves, which gets a hearty laugh. In the end, it's agreed that some Humans will accept the Elvish food while the others get what's salvagable from the Human rations.
One of the Humans, a scrawny and meek squire, choose to accept the Elvish food. They've never liked the rations they've eaten so far anyway. In fact, they've never liked much of West Galria either, but they got conscripted like a lot of young men these days and had little choice but to join the front lines.
Over the course of a few weeks and several hearty Elvish meals, the young squire begins to grow a bit, their fellow prisoners saying that "he's finally becoming a man," which isn't something they're all that comfortable being called. As the days bleed into each other, they get restless and start socializing with the Elves more and more. The other Humans demand to be set free, but the West Galrians keep postponing the POW exchanges until the Human food rations start to run dry.
The only option is to go out and forage and hunt for food that Humans typically eat, but the Elves don't know what Humans prefer. They'd have to bring a Human with them, and the only one they trust so for is the "little" squire.
The squire follows along and does well enough that they get afforded more freedoms. First they get to go on more hunts and foraging trips, then they get to leave their jail cells more often and wander the camp. And gradually, as they continue to partake of Elvish food and Elvish socialization, she ceases to be seen as a Human POW and is instead seen as a fellow sister of the woods.
The day comes when the West Galrians finally agree to a POW exchange. And on the day of the exchange, the former Human squire, now Elven soldier follows along to make sure that those Humies don't get up to something devious.

5. Never Cut Down On Your W-Orc-outs - Resident lumberjack Tim Burr has a nasty accident after chopping down a tree in the woods outside the city of Empire Bay. During his hospitalization, as he convalesces inside of a Sandoval Innovations Panacea Tank, a distracted nurse accidentally plugs the wrong CRISPR treatment tube into the tank. A few weeks later, with all his bones healed, the doctor advices him to commit to a steady workout routine to get his musculature back in order.
Heeding the doctor's advice, Tim goes to the gym on a regular basis and quickly sees some results. Not knowing however that the errant CRISPR treatment is activated by exercise...
Tim's flexibility increases and so does his motor skills. And his skin gets younger and greener, while his muscles only grow a modest amount. That very modest amount looks quite appealing though, and quickly Tim's memories crack open to remind them of some old confused feelings from their teenage...
Tim returns to the doctor and explains the situation. A short wait time later, Tim is scheduled for a genetic analysis to tailor a gender reassignment treatment. During which the doctor notices that Tim has already been injected with such a treatment, although this one also includes "Orc hormones," which explains his weird complexion and tight musculature.
With a shrug Tim accepts her situation and the doctor's recommendation to keep up the gym attendance to speed up the transition. However, Tim takes the recommendation a little to close to heart as her frequent workouts start overflowing her body and brain with girly Orc hormones.
In barely anytime time at all, Tessy has turned into the resident Orc gymbo. Always happy and flirtatious. Not to mention that she probably could still chop down trees with ease, though she would much rather jog through the woods than cut them down.
[Empire Bay, human male to female Orc gym bunny]
