The Corroded Hull Battle Map

This map has been Rootyful's project for the last month. The finished version is a spectacle sure to leave an impact on your players. It begs to be the setting for some final boss fight or similar climax!
It spans a cinematic 44x16 squares in all, with a wide central space prepared for drama. Though themed around chaos and decay, the traversable terrain stands out quite clearly.
What do these twisted sheets of metal say to you? Are they those of a derelict space station? A machine shredded by some accident? An ancient, buried facility? We hope you'll share your ideas in the comments!
