Your 2-Minute February Update

Happy February 2021! I hope that last month was kind to you and that you're reading this in good health. I'm currently writing from my home in Australia, where the sun is beaming down with ferocity, but a strained breeze is coming to our rescue.

Our January Content

January is neatly wrapped up, rewards and all. In summary, we released:

• The Forest Floor Map Assets
  105 new map assets and 8 new tiling textures to cover a forest floor.
  
• The Celestial Temple Battle Map
  An opulent stone building committed to a celestial god, which goes on standing no matter how much time washes over it...
  
• The Underground Highway Battle Map
  Unbeknownst to most who live in the sun's glow, there are wide, straight, pitch-dark tunnels criss-crossing far beneath their feet...
  
• 181 New Tokens
  Conveniently packaged, pre-colored, ready-to-play versions of the tokens we created in January 2021.

Our February Plans

February may only be 28 days long, but we've got some big plans! 

As you know already if you're a Gold+ tier patron, I have been regularly commissioning rootyful for the last few months to make some spectacular map variants for each release. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I could not do any better! Beyond the sheer quality, their help means that I can pour even more time into the base maps - in summary, it's been a wonderful you/me/rootyful win/win/win relationship.

This February I had planned to take one of my rare months off of map making in order for me to catch up on a long list of priorities which I have been struggling to get to over the past few months. I'm talking about things like new Dungeondraft packs, making PDFs out of Troy's adventures, and working on physical product prototypes - all very hotly requested items, you can see. :)

But, instead of hitting Pause on this Patreon for a whole month like I have done previously, we want to instead try putting together our regular four paid content posts per month, but this time they'll be made up of maps and tokens commissioned from the extended 2-Minute Tabletop team. 

I have complete confidence that each release will be as-good or better-than our regular Ross-drawn content! This way I hope to:

• Continue to provide you with lovingly-made battle maps and tokens,
• Keep supporting rooty and the Token Team all through the month,
• Catch up on making Dungeondraft packs available, and other such priorities.

Come March I'll pick up my pens again and join back in with making content, so we'll get back to what's familiar before too long. :)

I hope that you're just as excited as we are! It's going to be a huge month, and I'm a little anxious about squeezing it all into 28 days, haha. That said, I'm routinely blown away by our team, and I'm sure that this time next month I'll be writing another enthusiastic 2-Minute Update. I hope to see you then!
