Hello again! How are things with you in these strange times? My corner of Australia is faring well so don't worry about me - I hope it's a similar story for you.
This July we created a variety of maps that I'm really proud of, ranging all the way from magical woodlands to sci-fi racing cars. In-between those there were the always-useful coliseum and snow assets, and the Token Editor team created well over 100 new tokens - wow.
Thank you sincerely for your pledge and for making this whole project a reality. It's truly a joy to work on every day. :)
I want to make those tokens a more permanent part of the 2-Minute Tabletop project.
After much thought, this is how I plan on doing it: there will continue to be four paid content posts per month, as I have done in the past, but release #4 of each month will be a collection of colored, ready-to-play tokens.
So a theoretical month may look like this: map, map, asset pack, tokens. Or perhaps: map, asset pack, map, tokens. In other words, releases #1-3 will be maps or map assets, and we will dedicate release #4 to tokens.
And not just 10-20 like when I used to draw them alone! At this point we can guarantee 100+ tokens per month, otherwise I will wait and combine them with the following month. :)

I'm glad to bring tokens back into the release cycle in such a big way, and thrilled to have the extra time to pour into making the maps and assets better and better! As much as I adore my job, four releases per month all by myself forces me to work through headaches, creative lows, and even my holidays. I'm excited to carve out some more wiggle room, and I think it's going to benefit the maps in a big way. :)
There's one thing to note, though: the tokens will be released as an exception to the current Patreon rewards. This is partly because we want to add each and every one into the Token Editor and not hold any of them back as exclusive rewards, and partly because the current rewards don't make any sense for tokens.
We're brainstorming some ideas so this may change, but for now please consider your monthly pledge #4 as a simple pledge toward the Token Team. That brings me to my next important point:
You may only be here for maps, or perhaps you have no use for digital tokens right now. That's fine! I have committed release #4 (the last paid content post of each month) to the tokens so that you can easily opt-out if you wish.
All you need to do is follow this guide to setting a "monthly maximum" to change your monthly limit for 2-Minute Tabletop to "3 times per month." This way you will only be charged for release #1-3 containing the maps and map assets you're used to, and you will not be charged for release #4 containing the tokens.
I hope that I've explained that well and have managed to infect you with our excitement! I really consider the Token Editor as a unique strength of 2-Minute Tabletop and it's been a dream to work with Reuben, Austin, and David. If you'd like to know more you can read this Introducing The Token Editor Team article or visit us on Discord!
That's all from me for now. Please let me know how you feel about this change and, of course, what you are hungry to see in this new month! Although I have a road map already for the maps, we are always eager for direction when it comes to those tokens.
Finally, you can grab a free $1 map with the coupon finaleclypsekatanafan valid until the end of the month. You can browse the selection here.
