Good morning everyone! April is wrapped up and a new month lies before us filled with potential maps and assets.
This year I have finally settled into a monthly routine. It looks like this: dungeon, building, battle map, wild card, and you can see this in last month's Yeti Lair, Simple Stable, Shipyard, and Horse Figurines.
I feel that dungeons and buildings are two indispensable pillars, so they are what I try and tackle first. After that, a "battle map" or a 23x16 scene of whatever takes my fancy, and finally a wildcard item - whatever I've been itching to make or bright idea I may have. This could be 3D buildings or character/monster tokens, but will usually just be another battle map that I feel inspired in the moment to make.
These are deliberately ordered going from most popular content to most risky content so that (due to Monthly Maximums) you all pledge towards the sure-fire maps and then the last wildcard map is paid for by the devoted folk who pledge to 4x payments per month.
That said, I do switch it up sometime! I hope you don't mind me following the winds of inspiration - it always ends in better results. :)

So, how about May? I already have a collection of solid plans, but I am always eager to add to that list. Please share your requests and ideas in the comments! Have you got any fun dungeon concepts, in particular?
My "B " project this month is - at long last - working on the Token Editor again. I'm determined to get it to the point I imagined it so many months ago, and I'll be taking all of your suggestions and input on board too. Accessories, racial features, weapons, color palettes, and more...
That's a rather brief summary but, as always, you can join the Discord to get almost-daily updates! There's a great community there with a mad amount of quality custom content too, so please come and say hi. :)
Here's how to link Patreon and Discord
And finally, you can grab a free $1 map with the coupon spinningcathurricane valid until the end of the month. You can browse the selection here.
Thank you so much for another month of map making, everyone! This job is a dream come true, and it's all thanks to your generosity.
I'll be back soon,
Ross
