Hero Tokens Pt.3

Twenty new hero tokens just came to the 2-Minute Tokens Editor! That makes fifty heroes of all shapes and sizes so far, ready for a coat of paints and a whirl around your virtual table top.

Click the question mark icon in the editor for instructions on how to use the tool. It's rather easy to custom-color and then right-click-save your token, and then drag and drop them from your PC into Roll20!

The editor itself is also progressing. The mobile-friendly version is very close to ready, as well as some other handy features. I'm very excited to get it into your hands, but it still has a little way to go.

Oh, and if you don't want to mess around with the editor, you can find twenty pre-colored tokens in the attached ZIP file below.

What do you think, should I move onto monsters next month or make more heroes? Let me know in the comments. :)

Thanks to you, these are released under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Hero Tokens Pt.3

Comments

One of these days I will :)

Ross from 2-Minute Tabletop

These token generators are quite amazing. I love them! I'd like to see something similar with common monsters (goblinoids, orcs, gnolls, zombies, etc). I would throw some bulky armor-wearing types in there as well with some hefty weapons.

Monsters!

Matthew Shaker

Great job! I hope to see more hero tokens soon :D

Pre-made palettes are a priority of mine, actually! With the next release you'll be able to save and load palettes. I'll put some together then. As a rule of thumb, just desaturate everything a little more than usual by choosing colors closer the the white end (bottom). This will make your colors clash much less.

Ross from 2-Minute Tabletop

Hi Ross! Could we get your colour palette on the Custom Token Editor? Your tokens all look really good, and mine usually look not quiiite right. I especially have difficulty with hair and skin colours, but it'd be nice to have consistent colour schemes for clothing and armour across all my tokens too.

I love these so much!! I am planning to use them for both players and NPC's! Cant wait for some beasties!

Andrew Williams

Could we get some tokens that are from other angles? Would love to have some filler pieces to add to scenes that show backs or profile, since the current isometric angle looks weird from anything other than the front

Chonkus dragonborn is my personal favorite from this batch, so I'm happy to hear that he's getting some love. <3

Ross from 2-Minute Tabletop

You've blessed us with the new Chonkus dragonborn token, currently being used for the party's blue dragonborn cleric, though there's also a blue dragonborn monk in the party - other dragonborn token has taken that spot~

Ruffled Wrenaissance

That's quite an idea. I'll keep it in my pocket for now. :)

Ross from 2-Minute Tabletop

When I get to orcs, undead, kenku, and other humanoids I want to make a large variety of them. Say, ten different sized/posed kenku. :)

Ross from 2-Minute Tabletop

Monsters!

Josh Rose

Have you considered adding Kenku tokens & Aarakocra as well?~ :3

Ruffled Wrenaissance

Monsters <3

Monsters!

Seconding with everyone that's saying monsters! c:

Seiri

Nice! Have you ever thought of doing a similar editor, but to create NPC that we can see full length, so we can show players what a NPC looks like during a game?

Maxime Durocher

I would just like to use these for my real world table top!

C Sickler

monsters would be amazing. then again so are these =)

mhark

I'm with Adam, some monster boys would be excellent!

Smotheredingravy

These are the literal best. Some monsters would be nice! I've been using the old greenskins tokens you made way back when. Some new shapes would be nice!

Adam Astra

I stinkin’ love these editable Hero Tokens!!
