Stepping Into November
Added 2018-11-01 04:31:43 +0000 UTC
October is over and the Halloween decorations are slowly coming down! Still, if you want to celebrate with a spooky one-shot, last month's Haunted Estate map set make for a great adventure:

Now that it's November and we leave the spooky theme behind I want to catch up on a few promises I've made. I'll keep it vague for now, but expect a region map or two, a pack to enhance those buildings I pre-released early in October, and some bright and colorful maps to contrast Halloween's grimdark mansion!
As always, please leave your requests and suggestions in the comments. I read every one and take all of them on board when I consider what to draw next! I appreciate your creativity.
Your $1 coupon for the month of November 2018 is coffeecurrencycinema and is good for any of our $1 maps. Remember to claim it before December!
And finally, thank you all for your support in October, and welcome to all of our new Patrons. I aim to keep up the pace and the quality in this new month, and I hope I can excite you with what I have in store!
For less specific stuff, how about Greco-Roman temple ruins, Viking longhouses, maybe some Islamic architecture? Alternately, you could do some really colorful terrain maps, like Yellowstone's hot springs and geysers with all the sulfur and bacteria.

I'd love a blood/red lake or shallow sea, some brine flats with saltgrass, a dry lakebed with skeletons and crumbling ruins poking out of the mud... anything that I can use for Demogorgon and Abysm/Shadowsea, basically :P

Good point! I had forgotten about the down-stair at the time, haha.

A set of one page islands for a seafaring adventure has been something I've wanted to do for a long time. :)

YouTube is absolutely on the agenda! It's not something that comes naturally to me at all, so it's been a process of making it as easy as possible. I intend to make good on my milestone promise! :)

I would love to see some seasonal tokens. The roadside token set is GREAT and I would love to see a roadside set that is fall themed. I would love to have my campaign move through the seasons. I'd also love to see winter tokens as well, snow covered rocks, tiling snow map, that sort of thing.
Last month's maps were really great! I hope to be using them in the near future (my Halloween game is ongoing into November)

I just wanted tos ay that WOW last month was AMAAAAZING. I probably say that EVERY month but you just keep putting out the COOLEST stuff! I love it, I love it all I can't wait to see this months creations ^^ I think for my 2 cents- I'd love to see a return to your youtube content when you get time! Maybe just some short videos on more of how you do what you do :D

If you're looking for suggestions, I love the tokens and builder sets, (and am really looking forward to your finished room/building set). As the old saying goes "provide a DM a map, and they have an encounter for a day, provide a DM a suite of tokens and components to build his own maps, and he has encounters for a whole game".
If there was something specific I think I'd love it would be some kind of tokens for outdoor/wilderness encounters that provided ways to incorporate height changes. Something to suggest slopes for fights with embankments or hillsides, or big rocks people could climb around on. Or just more wilderness tokens in general.
Though I love the full A2 maps, and am always finding ways to work them into my encounters.

I think it would be cool to see some lairs that we can use as like...final boss scenes. Part of what makes these maps cool is they're usually towards the climax of my sessions. So when I pull them out everyone gets all super excited. And while many of your maps work as boss-battle scenes. I think it'd be cool to do one that was built for that purpose.

I would also find a lot of use for a small island with something hidden in the middle.

Okay, I had thought about that, but I thought it a bit strange that there was a toilet/privy in one of the staircases, so I got a little confused xD

10th-century Baghdad :T No, but seriously... how about a canal city, and then the patron-only recolor can be lava instead of water? Also: I would love to see some Egyptian or Arabic architecture, whether ancient or medieval; North Africa and Asia Minor are especially neglected when it comes to fantasy RP supplements!

As with most of my buildings, I've hidden them under the upward stairs in case you want to forgo a basement. That said, one of this month's projects will have a replacement up/down staircase that is more clear. :)

I don't if it's just me, but I'm having a bit of trouble with seeing how some of the stairs connect with each other in the Hounted Estate set, mostly between the cellar and the groundfloor maps. Seems to me that the groundfloor stairs only go up?
Otherwise I really love the maps and hope to use them soon! ^_^
