The Tranquil Waterfall
Added 2018-02-28 07:59:17 +0000 UTCI'm back home now, but here is another map inspired by my travels in Japan! It's a peaceful pool fed by a little waterfall.
I painted most of it during the 13 hours I spent yesterday on a plane, and used it as a case study in rocky terrain. I also stumbled across a very nice angular brush for foliage, which was a nice surprise!
That's it (in the nick of time) for this month. I'll plan to get back to some traditional pencilled dungeons and roads next month.
I had a great time in Japan, by the way. It's such an easy country to travel around, and has plenty of variety. I saw flashes of fall, winter, and spring, mountains, ocean, and old architecture, and I hope I have soaked it all up into my map-making visual library.
