WIP Curtain Walls!
Added 2017-02-24 08:42:24 +0000 UTCHi everyone! It's been an admittedly unproductive week this week for various reasons, but I'd like to at least share some progress with you.
I've spent a lot of time brainstorming how I can best make a castle-themed tileset and the pieces that would go into it. Above is a (jagged, pre-touch-up) mockup of the first and simplest curtain wall tiles. As you can see, (so far) there's a rounded style and a square style, and the option to widen your wall with a wooden platform.
This pack will also include minor wall towers - which will act as very versatile intersections - stairways, ladders and trapdoors. Everything you need for a curtain wall... Minus the gatehouse, which I want to make a detailed pack for!
This curtain walls pack will be the "part 1" of the greater Castle Tileset bundle. Other packs will be themed around the keep, greater towers, gatehouse, and props (siege machines, banners, etc, etc.). So, I'm tentatively calling this a 5-part project; I may combine or split them later so that each pack has a fair share of content. Let me know if I've forgotten anything!*
*I know a lot of you have asked for a dungeon, but that will have its own expansive Dungeon Tileset in the near future - sit tight!

2017-02-24 09:09:27 +0000 UTCi think, just as with the houses, you could easily like release individual detailed rooms as well, after the set has finished, like stone brick rooms that would also work individually
