Poll: Total attributes
Added 2025-08-25 04:08:02 +0000 UTCI got a few comments about the bonus attributes on Royal Road, and decided to do a poll to see which of the two people preferred. I'll do the same here. It doesn't change the story, outside of having to add a few sentences in early chapter to show that other people only see the base attributes and not the total.
(Got also a few person who wanted to show progress since the previous time when Seth Identify himself, but I don't think it would make sense with how Identify read the current aether print, so I won't add that... at least not for now).

Glad this was brought up, with the first version I was never quite sure if the first number was the total including the bonuses or without counting the bonuses.

2025-08-25 11:13:10 +0000 UTCin my opinion version 1 can technically be interpreted as: - a) [Base] (+[Bonus]) or - b) [Total] (+[Bonus within that total]). Interpretation a) makes the most sense, is supported by further information in the story and also what it actual is supposed to be. but just seeing the attribute list on its own does not entirely clarify it in this case. With Version 2 on the other hand, the meaning is clear immediatly without room for interpretation. which is why I think version 2 is the better choice.
