Poll 1: Do you listen to the Audio options?
Added 2025-06-21 11:28:04 +0000 UTCThe audio options cost money, even if it's AI, because it's a high-quality service. If no one ends up listening to them, I’ll just stop and wait until the book gets published in a few years—then I’ll look into hiring a voice actor to do the whole thing properly.
But if even one person is listening, I’ll keep paying and posting them.

Maybe add a paid “audio tier” that’s $2-3 more expensive, so that you’ll know for sure whether people think it’s worth the cost? That could also help you offset the cost of the AI audio. Personally, I would probably just wait till the book is ready to publish and commission a full audiobook that you could post to Audible. I’m not sure that Audible would allow AI narrated books anyway, so you’d probably need to a hire a real narrator for that.
