Tool Update: Pack Test Utility v. 3.0.0

A useful tool for my mods for users who don't own all Sims 4 packs. Anyone who has all EPs, GPs and SPs does not need this tool! The kits are irrelevant.

✒️ Tool Description

I reworked my Pack Blocker Utility to not have as many modules anymore because many users complain about the number of files (there seems to be a certain number of allowed mods) or not reading the installation instructions properly. Now I only have the automatic version. And I renamed the mod again.

So this tool is NOT a standalone mod! But it's strictly required as an interface for some of my mods to bypass error messages in case the game is looking for content you don't have installed.

It is (so far) only required for the following mods:

• SimSim Online Store (optional from version 4.0.1)
• SimSim Online Store (required from upcoming new version 4.1.0)
• Smart Sim Randomizer (required for any version)

More mods could follow in the future.

✅ Brand New Features

I also considered the pack test from the Lot51 Core Library. So now you need either Pack Test from Frankk or Core Library from Lot51 (not both). If you have one or the other script, my Pack Test Utility will automatically pull data from these libraries and you don't have to do anything else.

If you have both scripts (Pack Test Script from Frankk and Core Library Script from Lot51), that's no problem either, because everything will work fine. But you only need one of them. Which one doesn't matter.

🔎 Do I have to install this now?

When you have all packs:

• You don't need to install this tool if you have all EPs, GPs and SPs. The kits are irrelevant, so it doesn't matter which kits you have. The Horse Ranch EP is also irrelevant (at the moment) because I haven't included it in my mods yet.

If you don't have all packs:

• You don't need to install this tool if you don't use SimSim Online Store or Smart Sim Randomizer mods.
• You only need to install Pack Test Utility if you are using SimSim Online Store 4.1.0 or Smart Sim Randomizer mod in any version.

Please delete the old version of this mod!

🈯 Translations

The Pack Test Utility do not have strings, so no translations are required.

🚨 Compatibility

There shouldn't be any compatibility issues because the mods don't overwrite anything.

⚠️ Required Terms

• The XML Injector from Scumbumbo is required for full functionality!
• Pack Test Script from Frankk or Core Library Script from Lot51 is required!
• You have to allow the scripts in your game settings.

📌 Installation Instructions

• Back up your current save files just in case!
• Download the zip archive and extract all files!
• Move the unzipped folder to your Sims 4 Mods folder!
• Path: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Please delete all files of the previous version of the mod!
• Delete the game cache files (how)!
