March 14 Patch Warning

This patch aims to be a mod apocalypse that will break many or even most mods. You are therefore warned to either 1) not update the game first (turn off online mode) and wait a few days to update the game until your favorite mods are updated, or 2) delete all mods and play without mods if you absolutely need to update the game immediately. Please keep in mind that if you delete the mods you may lose all settings and e.g. if the deleted mods give custom traits and skills to your sims then they will all be lost too once the mods are deleted...
All creators are aware how brutal this patch will be and will be doing their best to check and update things as soon as they can. Especially for creators who have a lot of mods (and also their personal life and job) it might even take several days to check all mods... If you would like to receive a live feed on what mods or CC are being updated or compatible, we recommend the following:
- Luthienrising's Broken/Updated Mods & CC Forum Thread (a new one will be posted there on patch day)
- Scarlet's Broken/Updated Mod List
- Joining Deaderpool or Sims After Dark, which are also help servers for game and mod issues (do not request help if you kept mods in after the patch).

Update my Mods
I will first update the mods that have custom skills and traits so you can use them again as soon as possible and this data is not lost. The pure beauty mods (like Better Pie Menu) are nice to have in the game, but you can live without them, so I'll check those mods last. If which mods do not need an update I will also confirm that. I am very excited to see what awaits us!
