We're only a week away from Christmas but that doesn't mean we can't have last-minute baubles!
Yes, in case you haven't already printed too many baubles, here are some more, and this time they're shaped in a teardrop form. I just like vase mode and couldn't resist exploring another shape for these things! There are six different designs, and they're all swirly in some way.
The previous vase mode baubles, both this year's dodecahedra and last year's round ones, incorporated hook structures at the top to provide for hanging. By contrast, these baubles are closed at the top and instead each include a kind of star shape which is intended to allow a cord loop to hang evenly and keep the baubles vertical.
Print Description
These are vase mode prints so set your slicer accordingly!
That said, you could of course print these in regular mode instead, since they're closed shapes and will print that way just fine.
Print Dimensions
Each bauble is approximately 64mm x 64mm on the print bed and 115mm tall.
Supports Needed?
Not at all! Designed for straightforward printing!
Scalability
Since this is vase mode, it'll scale happily up or down!
Print Orientation
As you'd expect, the baubles print base down, like so:

Further Thoughts
I love printing these things using "coextrusion" filaments that squish two colours into a single filament strand, yielding prints that show different colours on different angles. It's also handy that those filaments tend to be shiny silks, too, which are just perfect for baubles!
Merry printing!
