It's a gift box! Well, probably. Maybe you just like cakes and want to store things in cakes. Hmm, pies, doughnuts, and cakes. Do I get hungry when designing, or something? :P
This particular cake has a hinged lid with optional magnet closure to keep its contents secure, which would be particularly important if you were using it to store cake.

Technically, this is a single-material print, but that main body is designed for a filament change in the middle to give that layered look. The other parts print individually: the cherry is actually a bolt that runs through the cream blob and into a threaded hole in the lid, forming a handle.
The lid assembly then just presses onto the main body, and depending on how precise your printing is you might want to add a dab of glue to keep it there, since pushing the lid past its fully-open position will actually lever the lid away from the main body!
Print Description
Regular mode printing, with print-in-place support-free moving parts! So, make sure your bottom layer is nice and neat, and there aren't any print issues like stringing or overextrusion that might bind together moving parts.
The main body is designed for a filament swap to colour the middle section, and the model has indents at the position where you'll want to do that! So, load it up in your slicer and align your filament swaps with those features. Or, if you're really dedicated, just watch the print until that perimeter moves inwards and do it manually :)
Optional Magnets
As usual, 6mm x 3mm cylindrical magnets are used here, and you'll want two of them if you're going to make things magnetically-secured.
Print Dimensions
The main body occupies 77mm x 108mm on the bed and is 70mm tall.
Supports needed?
No supports required!
Scalability
Scalable to some degree, but tolerances will be affected. The hinge is the main issue.
The fit of the icing onto the main body might get looser or tighter depending on whether you're going bigger or smaller, but you can fix that either in slicing or with some elbow grease afterwards! The cream and cherry should be a little more tolerant of scaling, being threaded.
Print Orientation
The main body, cream and cherry bolt print right-way-up and the icing lid prints upside-down:

Further Thoughts
I really should encourage my printers to eat better!
Happy printing!
