Tendi and the Horga'hn

As you can see, whenever I do a bodypaint the part of my back is the worst painted... I am quite flexible and I reach my whole back, and to cover more skin I use a sponge smeared in liquid paint instead of brushes (like on the face or in front of the body)... but once I get in set, in front of the spotlights I always discover that I have left some little areas of my back unpainted.
Which reminds me, I haven't uploaded any making-of footage from this shoot.... Stay tuned, I'm going to prepare several more posts about this shoot today!

Yes, when it’s a project with just one single photo or very few photos, I go over it to check for areas that can be worst painted, and sometimes I use Photoshop to fill in spots I didn’t paint well. But when it’s a set with a lot of photos, I sometimes prefer to leave those small mistakes if they only appear in a few pictures. I think that, sometimes, perceiving the brushstrokes adds a more realistic dimension to the final work, especially when those "mistakes" are only noticeable in a small number of the total set.
