Dear supporters, I present you the beta version of my new mod I've been working on for the past few weeks. This is the Smart Sim Randomizer.

The main feature of this mod is an automatic smart fill of empty sims generated by the game and all other NPC sims in the neighborhood. I know there are already some mods that offer different ways of randomization. Still, I made my own version because:

I don't want to click on every single sim because I want to fill them with content. This should always happen automatically when a new Sim shows up!
I don't want Sims to have random idiotic careers that don't match their traits and skills!
I don't want my sims to get random fake college degrees while they don't have the skill they should have gotten during college.
I want more personality based randomness in the game that other mods don't!

What is already intelligently randomly generated

As of now, intelligent randomization of the following properties has been implemented:

All Likes and Dislikes: Each Sim is automatically given two likes and two dislikes each for colors, decor, and music, and four (or two each for children) likes and dislikes for activities. The selection is random with correction of probability depending on other characteristics. For example, a snob Sim will probably not like simple furniture, a creative Sim may be more interested in painting, a vampire may like the black color more than the others, and an active Sim will most likely prefer sports activities. The more traits your Sim has, the more likes and dislikes will match. Also, all likes and dislikes should be in the same tone, e.g. If a Sim doesn't like to cook, they probably won't like to bake either. And a Sim that doesn't like DJ music most likely won't like DJ Mixing either. Work in this direction will continue so that there is a necessary balance between different features.
Other trait-based preferences: movie genres, weather and temperature preferences, umbrella choices, fork or chopstick choices. For example, the romantic Sims prefer romance movies and the Sims who enjoy doing comedy prefer watching comedy. The vampires hate the sun and the mermaids love rain. Work in this direction will also continue.

The mentioned Sim Preferences are automatically assigned to ALL Sims when they appear in the game. This affects literally all Sims, both from the active household and all NPCs. If the affected Sims already have the specified likes und dislikes traits, they will be retained. For example, if a Sim already has two activity likes and one activity dislike, they will only get two new activity likes and three activity dislikes. Its already acquired properties will not be deleted. In addition to the automatic assignment of properties, there is also the option of doing this with a click via the menu, e.g. if you don't like the assigned properties and want to try fate again.

Which is still purely randomly generated

At the moment there is the possibility to randomly assign a college degree to a sim. This assignment is still made without considering the properties. I will work on that in the next updates. For this reason, there is no automatic assignment of the degree. If you want to assign a degree, you must select it from the menu. So this works like a cheat. You can only assign one degree to a Sim this way.
In the next steps, it is also planned to create the lifestyles, skills and careers through intelligent randomization. In this version it is not yet available, also not purely coincidentally.

Sim Cleaning Tool

Also part of the package is a cleaning tool that I created to test this mod. I also like to share it with you. Maybe something like that already exists, but I like my realization better than someone else's. This cleaning tool delete following properties:

All likes and dislikes (colors, decor, music, activities).
All traits based preferences (movie, weather, umbrella, fork or chopstick).
All university degrees.
All childhood phases traits.
All sentiments.
Almost all buffs that don't depend on needs and stats

Additional Overrides

There are four add-ons in total:

As add-ons, I have a few overrides of other Sim preferences (e.g. favorite movie genre, favorite weather, handedness type) for you guys that are available in-game as hidden traits. This override makes these properties visible. Similar mini-mods have already been made by other creators (e.g. Bienchen), but I've also made my own with different icons and sometimes different visuals. This is how you could decide. Whether you use my override or Bienchen's mod or none at all, it just changes the look. So you don't need these AddOns at all, i.e. even without AddOns your Sims get an automatic preference. You just won't see it.

The fourth addon increases the number of allowed likes and dislikes from 20 to 50. This is a simple override. If you have other mods that do the same or don't want to have this, you don't need this.

Sims 4 Package Blocker Tool

The challenge of bypassing the error messages when the game doesn't find some packages used in randomizing likes and dislikes pushed me to create a special tool for my mod. Since this idea can also be used in other mods (e.g. Purchasing System Overhaul), I decided not to release this tool as part of this mod but as a separate project.

The Smart Sim Randomizer only requires this tool to work properly if you don't own all Sims 4 packs (EP, GP and SP)! If you have everything (kits don't matter), you don't need this!

Translations

It's not a finished product yet, so I only have English strings in all languages. Also, there isn't much. That's just the strings in the menu. The texts from the traits are taken directly from the game, so you don't need a translation.
