Time to vote - Would you like to see a set inspired by the movie Barb Wire?

Here Pamela Anderson in a promo shot for the 1996 movie "Barb Wire". After her huge success on Baywatch Pam Anderson played a bounty hunter trying to earn a living in the then far-off year of 2017. The film was roughly based on a Dark Horse Comics of the same name, but even with Anderson's fame and all the explosive-pulp promotional material that was made, it was a critical and commercial failure.

I'm not gonna lie, it's not a great movie, but it's campy, action-packed and fun. And Pamela Anderson played a sexy, badass mercenary with some 90's domina outfits that although they don't look very futuristic, they are spectacular!

Do you remember this movie? I just recently bought it on BluRay and I had a lot of fun watching it... So I ask you, would you like to see a set inspired by Barb Wire?

Qué valiente! jajaja pero sigo diciendo que sabiendo lo que se va a ver, es una peli mala disfrutable. Pero bueno, yo adoro las pelis malas que no se toman en serio a sí mismas.

You're right. Although I don't usually cosplay characters from movies I don't like; I need to feel a connection, a certain excitement when creating a cosplay. This connection is what keeps me motivated to continue working on the project, because in the end, creating each costume takes a lot of hours. That's why I decided to specialize in sci-fi and horror cosplay, my favorite genres (looking for the connection I'm talking about). This is also why I stopped cosplaying Marvel and DC characters, among others. But at the same time, there are many horrendous or super cheesy films that I really love, so it’s easy for me to end up cosplaying films that are considered really bad haha P.S.: Sucker Punch is not going to happen unless someone subscribed to my commission tier specifically chooses it.

You made me watch that movie. Again.

Just because the movie was an abomination doesn't mean the character isn't cosplay-worthy. As a US Army veteran, I'd like to see Jane Fonda torn apart by wild dogs on live television, but I'm still looking forward to seeing your interpretation of the fictional character she portrayed in Barbarella, probably because I've been practicing my Duran Duran jokes for weeks. Sucker Punch was so bad it bordered on being a cinematic war crime, but a girl in a sexy sailor outfit armed with a katana and a 1911 is cosplay waiting to happen.
