Hi Cinders!
We have such a fun design for you!! -The SPINNER SPYDER! This cute yet creepy design has a spinning eye, which acts as a duel purpose fidget spinner! This is completely print in place with no supports! And the best part ----> The eyeball prints UPSIDE DOWN allowing for unique color options with only a single extruder!
There are 3 Model Options!!!! All models ALSO have 2 more variation options! Spider eyes VS no eyes! And Hanging holes!
1. SOLID EYE: This model option is so fun! The weight of the eyeball creates a great fidget spinner toy!
2. HOLLOW EYE: This model has the eyeball as an empty cavity with a separate lid. This allows for you to insert a light inside and have the eyeball glow! Important note: the filament used for the eye must be translucent or white for light to glow through, opaque colors do not work well.
3. RESIN: This model has holes specifically made for resin printing. Please read the below important notes for more resin information about this model.
Important notes on this model:
1. Like most print-in-place spiders, the legs (and eyeball) have little bed surface area. We recommend printing with at least a brim, or a raft.
2. We have a Resin option available, however we have not been able to fully test in resin. The only issue I see is that as the resin expands, the LID might be too big to fit. We recommend scaling just the lid down a bit if that is an issue. We have included a separate lid file to help.
3. I have included a link below for the tiny lights that I use. I have been dealing with some really bad layer shifting on my Vyper, but I was able to resolve this by calibrating my e-steps. I had previously increased my e-steps value to deal with under-extrusion, only to discover the now over-extrusion was now causing my nozzle to collide with printed layers strong enough to make my x and y stepper motors to lose steps. Lost steps = layer shift.

Loadshedding - when the government gave tenders for important power stations to cadré members and family. Then the slip shot building quality fails and leaves the country with 3 three hour time slots a day of power lasting 3 hours at a time. Powerloss recovery sometimes fails. [The Big Blob of DOOM!]
