From time to time I receive commission proposals to create specific cosplays, but unless they are through my last Patreon tier I do not usually accept them (most of the time these are characters/projcts I'm not interested in cosplaying). But I have received this one that I found very curious, very simple but interesting at the same time, and I want to take the opportunity to explain it here today since her funniest scene is she kissing Robo while celebrating the New Year!.

Yes, the character I'm talking is Dr. Tyler from Robocop, the OCP chief technician and scientist with the huge glasses we see in Verhoeven's classic film.
In fact there are woman scientists working on the project in the 3 Robocop films, and since in the first 2 films they do not have names, many people tend to think that they are the same character but just different actresses (they are different characters just with common characteristics).
The commission is to create a cosplay inspired (it doesn't have to be a screen replica outfit) by this scientist, Dr Tyler, and creating some pin-up style photos... I like a lot the idea but my problem is I don't know how to approach it, because the perfect way to do it of course would be to have a Robocop to do some really interesting photoset; but of course it's out of question for a quick commission like this cause a quality 1:1 replica would cost thousands of dollars.
So my problem here is that without Robocop I don't think the scientist alone is recognizable or iconic enough... The person who commissioned me assures me that he doesn't care at all, that he just wants some simple studio photos inspired by the character he loves in a classic pinup mood; but I really want to find a way to create something original cause I love the idea and it alines a lot with my Patreon project (scifi + pinup).
So today I want to summon the hive mind of the Xeno-colony to ask you for suggestions and shooting ideas for this character. Also I want to ask you what you think of pinup shoots inspired by scifi characters who appear with so little screen time in their respective films?
I've been watching the movies again and doing some quick research on the character (summarized in photo 3). The actress who played the scientist is called Sage Parker, so far I love the tech bossy vibes, the giant glasses (totally my daylife style glasses), and although the clothing style is super baggy 80s suits, I do think is possible to create an interesting pinup by developing the concept a little. What do you think, I read you in comments or in PMs!
