2025-10-05 17:51:44 +0000 UTCand how I read that scene where Daphne shows her the pic of her kid is that she's implying that the kid is not Cameron's. Because she made it a point to say blond hair, blue eyes, and then shows her kid with those features and Harper kind of reacts like she got that as well. But, I mean, most things with Daphne are implied, like when she told Harper "I'm not a victim" when they were in Noto. But she never said anything explicitly, so it's all up to us to read between the lines. The Valentina storyline makes me so sad. I feel like she's so closed off because she is so lonely so she clung onto Isabella because she was the only person who she felt seen by. Of course it's wrong because she's in a position of power but I feel like she latched onto the first bit of genuine attention (from a woman) she's gotten in a long time or maybe ever. I like that she let Mia play without accepting the quid pro quo. She just said yes and then it was Mia's choice to swoop in and make her birthday. At the end of each ep there's a little behind the scenes interview with different pair of actors and I liked when Sabrina, who plays Valentina, pointed out how this power dynamic is usually between a man in power and a woman, and how it's interesting to see her and Mia represent a version of that. Can't wait for the finale!
